A new beginning...in both name and deed...
Spring 1 - 31
. Day One (Spring 1st): Welcome to Echo Village! Your character (be it boy or girl) has already been generated by you previous to this event. They are excited to see the nature just outside of the village proper when a man they don't know comes from the town and passes out on the ground! Seeing him down, they hear a voice saying to help him and how to move to do so.
Once the man revives with a bit of water, he reveals himself to be Dunhill, the mayor of the village and friend of your family. After a bit of banter, he show you where your farm is and helps you learn to pick up items, and shows you the inside of your home - already complete with kitchen! Nice!! You also learn that the village is getting smaller, seeing two people actually leaving... Dunhill is clearly upset by this, but says not to worry about it quite yet... Once everything is said and done, he let's you go to bed, tired from your day at only 6pm...
Day Two: You are awoken by a strange noise outside. Coming out, you see Dunhill and vent your frustration to him at the rude awakening. He explains it must've been him putting your mail in your mailbox, as this is a "job"/hobby of his. After getting that straightened out, he takes you around town to meet the remaining villagers: Emma and Hana. Emma runs the shipping bin (In front of her purple roofed house) while Hana runs the general store. :D Nice lady. (just very beady eyed! LOL)
Dunhill will then show you all around town, including showing you how to shop at Hana's store, before letting you explore on your own. :) I suggest gathering everything, saving most of your items, but catching and selling every bug you can. DO NOT Sell your bees, though! You will need them later. :D Note: You will be able to store most of everything in your bag in other places at home, EXCEPT for the material bin items, as you do not have one just yet...be patient.
Day Three: Dunhill is there to give you some tools and seeds so you can begin your farming life! How nice of him!! You can skip his explanation or not, he will still give you the same amount of items: a hoe, a watering can, a sickle, a bag of potato seeds, and SEVEN bags of turnip seeds. Be ready - it's all up to you now what you do! :D
Day Four: Emma will come over to teach you how to ship items from her box. You can say you already know this or go through her tutorial. Up to you, player. :)
Day Five: The store was closed yesterday, so this is probably the soonest you can buy a Coffee Pack for Dunhill's birthday tomorrow!! :D
Day Six (6th of Spring): Dunhill's birthday!! Don't forget to give him the Coffee Pack you bought (or not :P)!
Day Seven: If you planted any of your turnips on the morning of Day 3, and have been watering them twice a day since, they should be ready by now! Hooray! Your web-helper (me) harvested 3 patches = 12 turnips! :3 The potatoes are still growing at this point.
Day Eight: If you double-water your potatoes, they are done now! This player planted the remaining 4 turnip seeds this day, which for her was raining.
Day Nine: Meet Neil event - you awake hearing a cow outside. Going outside to investigate, you find there IS a cow outside. Neil, the fifth (counting you) resident of town, is an animal dealer and Dunhill, apparently, wants to add to your current stock of zero. Congratulations, you got a cow. :D
Day 10: This player bought 4 potato seed and 10 fertilizer for when the turnips are done, in order to participate in an event to come...It's also raining.
Day 11: Tried out the Animal Sanctuary with my cow, playing 100 g for the trip. After only being there for 2 hours (3-5), when we went back to town, for some reason I'm tired and went to bed?? ONLY go after everything is done and if you don't plan to double water that day!!
Day 12: Emma comes over to teach you cooking. :) How nice of her. She will give you Basic Bread and Basic Dessert Recipes. Enjoy. Also, Hana will have Basic Fried Recipes for sale as well. Nice.
Day 13: Hana has MORE recipes for sale, specifically Potato Pancakes, Baked Yam, Mimosa Salad, and Herb Salad. I'm assuming the first two are ONLY If you bought the fried recipes yesterday, since they are in that cooking section. For this player, if was raining.
Day 14: Spring Harmony Day! Girls get sweets, but since we haven't made Neil like us in time (I didn't; also only works if a girl!), we get nada. :P If you've been giving your cow treats and love, it's milk should be 1.5 stars by today.
Day 15: A New Friend event - Hana comes over and invites you to walk with her to the stumps, showing you that you can gather items there. On the way home, you spot a wandering woman. This is Iroha, a blacksmith in training. This is when you get the Hammer and Axe as a gift from her for helping her find a home in town, as the Inn is now longer an option. :P
Day 16: Hana will now sell a replacement Hammer and Axe.
Day 17: Meet the Harvest Sprites event - Aaron is in your home, introducing himself before teleporting you to where they live. There you are greeted (?) by Alice, his sister, and are introduced to the Sound Stump puzzles. :3 Solve the first puzzle by finding the song sheet under Dunhill's bed (the old man with a hat). It's just the musical scale, so hit the stumps in order from left to right to unlock a bouncy stump by where the bear is (near the end/start of the trail depending where you started from going in the forest. If you entered by the farm and go left, it's at the end. If you entered by where Neil sets up his stand, it's at the start).
Day 18: Potatoes ready and the fertilized one is 1 star. Can't buy more crop seeds - it's Wednesday...
Day 19: Got more potato seed (and turnip seed by accident) and went to the Animal Sanctuary from 3:45 to 6:47. Gave Neil a Moondrop Flower at the sanctuary and he seemed to like it. Only watering once a day to extend the time of growing for the fertilized potato.
Day 20: Got a letter saying Sprite Island surfaced from Taro in the Sunshine Islands. Game-ception! XD We also get some fish traps from Dunhill when we enter the fishing areas (Start from the farm entrance to the forest)!
Day 21: Dunhill announces the 'new' festival of town - a Crop Festival! It starts at 12pm, but you can register as late as 2:59p. :P That's pretty lenient. This player caught some small Shishamo (fish; 3 of them) with the traps and gave one to Hana. She loves them.
Day 22: Gave Emma a butterfly to be friendly. NOPE - woman doesn't like bugs or animals it seems...
Day 23: Last Shishamo for Hana; gave Emma a Moondrop Flower...she likes it! ^_^ I just found what to give her for her birthday!
Day 24: Since Player was out of Shishamo, gave Hana a Small Goby. (1 of 3) Also bought 11 more Fertilizers. Skipped watering Potato today to lengthen the fertilizer time.
Day 25: Meet Rebecca and Toni event - Since Iroha moved into the last house in town, it's up to the townfolk to find materials for building a new home for Rebecca (an architect) and her son, Toni. Leave the building to you, player (with help from Rebecca's blueprints)! You can now build things at your farm studio!! (the door on the side of your house XD) Since her shop is open today, this Player also bought some extra blueprints - the Newspaper Carrier's house, the Coop, the Supply Shed (can now store materials!!), and the Fish Trap. (Now we can make more traps once the other 5 are gone) Water potato today.
Day 26: Last small goby for Hana, so let's go trapping for more! Caught more small shishamo, yay. Skip watering today.
Day 27: Meet the Harvest Goddess event, which unlocks Multiplayer!! Water today.
Day 28: Raining. It's Emma's birthday, gave a Moondrop Flower; gave Harvest Goddess her first offering of a Blue Magic Flower; gave Hana her second small shishamo of 3; FINALLY got a 1.5 star potato harvested, NOT planting more crops. Not enough time.
Day 29: Aaron and Alice's birthday!! The Harvest sprites are not needed to befriend, really, but it's nice to give Aaron a butterfly and Alice a flower today at least. Since we are out of small fish again, need to trap! Found out that the Duck, Raccoon, and Weasel all dislike the Icefish... Grumbly sign over heads when presented with it.
Day 30: Spring Crop Festival!! Entered the 1.5 star Potato in the beginner class...got first place and won 10 1-star Shiitake seeds, Starter Recipes 2 (Potage), and Speedy Clipper blueprints! Now we are vegetable unknown brand. Up from being a no brand, it adds 20% to our shipping price. YAY!
Day 31: Flower Festival. Gave everyone a flower for the day, including Neil. :P Cow should be at 1.5 hearts today, but the milk won't get any added stars yet. Note - you can NOT buy Summer seeds yet. Hana is still selling spring seeds, and tomorrow is a Wednesday so the shop won't be open. Boo! Player made four more traps after using two, so total is 10. See you in Summer!
